Jane Ginns

Jane Ginns is an attorney with the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, Inc. (Claims Conference), where she assists survivors in obtaining compensation for their suffering during the Holocaust. Jane previously practiced corporate civil litigation with Balber Pickard Maldonado & Van Der Tuin, PC in New York and Freeborn & Peters LLP in Chicago. She is a graduate of Northwestern University and The George Washington University Law School. 
Jane has been actively involved with HIAS since 2008, serving as the co-chair of the 2012 HIAS Regina Spektor Benefit Concert and president of the New York Young Leaders program. Together with her parents and brother, Jane was resettled from the former Soviet Union with the help of HIAS in 1989. 
Drawn to issues involving refugees, immigration and international affairs, Jane serves on the Advisory Board of KIND (Kids in Need of Defense), the International Advisory Council of the International Crisis Group, and has volunteered with Network 20/20 and the CUNY Citizenship Now! Project. 
Jane lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
