Jeffrey M. Loewy
Mr. Loewy has spent his lifetime working with Jewish causes. A HIAS board member since 1988, he also has served on the New York UJA-Federation for more than a quarter century; is a past president of NYANA, and has been with that organization more than two decades. He serves as chair of the Board of Trustees of the American Federation of Arts, where he has also chaired the endowment committee since 1996. Mr. Loewy is also president of the board of the YM & YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood, on which he has served for 30 years.
The American Jewish Committee honored him with the Stanley M. Isaacs Human Relations Award in 1995, and he is a former vice-president of the New York chapter of the American Jewish Committee. He and his wife, Nancy Jane, live in New York.
