Norman J. Resnicow

A partner in the New York City law firm of Fox Horan & Camerini LLP, which serves international as well as local businesses, Mr. Resnicow has been a HIAS board member since 1981. He has been active in a number of Jewish organizations over the years, including the UJA National Young Leadership Council and the New York UJA-Federation Young Leadership Development Program and the Lawyers Division. He lectures and publishes on corporate law topics, has served on various bar association committees, and was a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Resnicow is a summa cum laude graduate of Yale College with a BA in history, and has a JD from Yale Law School. He and his wife, Barbara, reside in Manhattan (in Greenwich Village), are members of the Village Temple, and have two sons, Daniel and Joel. Mr. Resnicow’s mother, Melly (Engelberg) Resnicow, and her family were welcomed to the U.S. as HIAS clients in late 1938 after fleeing their home in Munich, Germany.
