Open House in NYC (March 6th)

Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of immigrants and refugees in 2012? If so, please join us for an open house on Tuesday, March 6th from 6:30 to 8:00pm to learn more about HIAS' work, meet other Young Leaders and HIAS staff, and register for exciting upcoming events! At the Open House, you can sign up to mentor immigrant jobseekers or high school students, help with citizenship exam preparation, participate in a Career Day, volunteer in a legal clinic, or take advantage of other new service opportunities. You can also RSVP for upcoming partnership events, like Inside the Activists' Studio and a film screening and tour at the Museum of Tolerance. You'll also find out about ways you can advocate for fair immigration policy, plan a fundraiser or program, and more!

What is HIAS Young Leaders? Founded by Jewish immigrants, refugees, and their descendants, HIAS Young Leaders is a unique national community of young professionals and graduate students. Through advocacy, education, community service, and fundraising initiatives, young people around the country generate new and creative ways to continue HIAS' longstanding mission of rescue, resettlement, and reunification of Jewish and other immigrants.
