Haaretz discusses HIAS' response to the Supreme Court's ruling on Arizona's SB 1070, welcoming the Court's decision but emphasizing the potential for racial profiling due to the section of the law that was upheld that allows police officers to check the immigration status of a suspect stopped for other reasons. HIAS' previous opposition to SB 1070 also was discussed, including HIAS' letter to Congress, which was signed by more than 65 Jewish organizations and public figures, condemning the legislation and urging Congress to move forward with federal immigration reform.

Ajoyib! Shu kitobning to'liq nunxsaisi .fb2 formatida chiqarsa bo'lmaydimi? FBReader va o'xshash dasturlar orqali barcha yuklab olib, elektron shaklda o'qirdi. Jahongir-akaga shuni bir o'ylab ko'rishni maslahat bergan bo'lardim. Hozir ko'pgina mashhur yozuvchilar, jumladan Stiven King ham, asosiy daromadni elektron kitob sotuvidan olishyapti. Bu ham muallifga, ham o'quvchiga bir necha baravar arzonga tushadi.
