On April 10th, thousands of immigration activists gathered in Washington, DC to urge Congress to fix our country's broken immigration system. This event -- the A10 rally -- brought together community, labor, faith, and immigrant rights supporters, all advocating for the passage of immigration reform that includes a pathway to citizenship. To prepare for this event, We Were Strangers, Too: The Jewish Campaign for Immigration Reform hosted a dinner on April 9th for the Jewish community to hear from experts, learn about the Jewish community's involvement in the immigration debate, and make signs for the rally.
