Groups from across the spectrum of American ethnic, minority and genealogically-based organizations recently came together on the National Mall in Washington, DC to call for establishment of the National Museum of the American People, which would tell the story of all of the American People.

Leaders of 11 organizations -- including HIAS' Gideon Aronoff -- represented their groups in this video; there are more than 50 groups and 125 organizations in the Coalition for the Nation Museum of the American People. The Coalition seeks a Presidential Commission in 2011 to study establishment of the museum.
