With Few Jews Left to Save, HIAS Aids Non-Jewish Refugees

The JTA just posted this profile of HIAS, which discusses how HIAS has expanded its role to working in refugee camps overseas with populations fleeing violence and persecution, even while remaining a strong voice in immigration reform here in the United States.

The story was picked up by the Jerusalem Post, New York Jewish Week, Arizona Jewish Post, New Jersey Jewish Standard, American Israelite, and J. (who also published an editorial).
