Lee Gordon Elected to Board of Directors of HIAS

(New York, NY) – Lee Gordon, of Chicago, IL, has been elected to the Board of Directors of HIAS, the international migration agency of the American Jewish community. Gordon is a Senior Managing Director of the Investment Advisory Division at Mesirow Financial, a diversified financial services firm headquartered in Chicago. In his current position, he assists business owners, families and individuals with integrating financial, tax and corporate plans through customized investment and risk management strategies.
He currently serves on the Board of Chicago Scholars, the successor organization to College Bound, which he co-founded in 1996. Since serving as President of the Jewish Council for Youth Services in the early 90's, he has chaired its Investment Committee and been an active member of the alumni group. Lee has been a supporter of providing opportunities to young people to pursue their dreams for virtually his entire adult life.
Lee Gordon received an accounting degree from the University of Illinois in 1985, and has been a licensed CPA in Illinois since 1985. He also attended the London School of Economics. Lee and his wife, Dana, live in Highland Park, IL.
