HIAS Young Leaders: New York
Our Founding Chapter

In the home of the HIAS World Headquarters, the HIAS Young Leaders of New York have pioneered a national movement of volunteers who commit their time, resources and expertise to serving Jews and others in need of the most basic freedom: the chance to live their lives in safety and with
dignity. This group formed in response to the economic and political crisis in Argentina. A small group of concerned Argentine Jewish young
professionals and students united with HIAS to help their friends and family suffering in Argentina. Five years later, the group has grown to over 1000 members from all corners of the globe who are responding to the most pressing issues facing immigrants and refugees today and meeting like-minded individuals in the process. For more information, or to learn about other exciting opportunities, email Adi Beinhert or call 212-613-1303.
