The HIAS Buenos Aires office has established itself as the preeminent expert among Jewish organizations on immigration and resettlement issues throughout the continent. In this role, HIAS advises and consults in many events, meetings, and congresses held in Latin America among the leading Jewish organizations of the continent.

HIAS closely monitors events in the region as they affect Jewish communities. During the year HIAS makes several fact-finding trips in the region to solicit the views of members of the Jewish community.
