The Latin America Regional Representative provides technical and policy support in the area, providing HIAS with the capacity to support the migration, integration and resource needs of Jewish communities throughout the region, and to extend protection of Jewish individuals and communities seeking migration information and assistance. It also provides technical and regional oversight to HIAS programs in the region engaged in humanitarian work in the spirit of Tikkun Olam.

To this end HIAS maintains offices in Ecuador, Argentina and Venezuela .
