Founded in 1881, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (“HIAS”) is America’s first refugee service organization. For over 130 years, HIAS has worked to rescue those in peril, reunite families in freedom, and enable newcomers to build new lives with hope and prosperity.
HIAS is committed to protecting your privacy. HIAS does collect personal information from users, including, but not limited to, an individual’s name, address, telephone number, credit card information, or e-mail address, in association with donations, user registration, newsletters, and other activities, when relevant. Additionally, when a user visits the HIAS Web site some information is automatically collected, including, but not limited to, the user’s computer operating system and browser type, version, and capabilities.
