James Prusky, one of the co-founders of HIAS Young Leaders, is a partner in Crecera Finance Company, a Latin American trade finance investment fund. He was previously the vice president of global market development at Citigroup, and spent several years in Citigroup’s corporate bank in the emerging markets, working in Europe, Asia and Latin America. He spent four years at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, where he worked on U.S. trade policy issues with Russia and Eastern Europe. Prusky received an MBA from Columbia Business School, a masters in international affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a BS degree from the University of Vermont. He lives in New York City with his wife, Alicia.
