Freedom’s Feast 2019: Multifaith Seder for Justice
Tickets range from $65-$300. Click here to purchase tickets.
Join HIAS Rabbi-in-Residence, Rabbi Rachel Grant Meyer, at Lab/Shul’s Freedom’s Feast: an ecumenical Passover Seder led by Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Zen faith leaders, along with artists, elected officials, activists, and musicians, inspired by our ancient narratives and shared commitment to justice, liberation, and human dignity.
In celebration of Passover and Easter, and with Earth Day just ahead, we’ll gather around a communal table to share a festive feast (kosher for Passover options available), sitting together so that we may rise up, together. In the spirit of our traditions, we dedicate this year to opening our doors and hearts to refugees, immigrants, and asylum seekers worldwide.
Freedom’s Feast features highlights from the rituals of Seder – interactive storytelling, live music and prayer – together with contemplation, conversation, and calls to action for unity in New York City and around the world. #SitToRise
