HIAS Direct Service Volunteer Program in Baltimore: Information Session Webinar
Fill out a volunteer application here, and navigate to the "opportunities" page to sign up for the webinar.
HIAS supports over 150 asylum seekers in the Greater Washington Area with free legal representation. HIAS’ mission teaches us that legal status alone does not equate to an easy life in this country. Since 2017, our department has engaged and trained over 100 volunteers to provide holistic support, from career mentorship to English Language Tutoring.
With our client base in Baltimore City and the surrounding counties growing, we are building that same volunteer network for our Baltimore clients. Whether you are an experienced educator or attorney, have language skills, or are interested in welcoming newcomers into your community, we invite you to take the first step towards becoming a HIAS Legal Volunteer and to join our Information Session Webinar on the evening of Wednesday, March 6th.
The session will be held via webinar, so please create a volunteer profile here and navigate to the "opportunities" page to sign up. Only those who sign up for the webinar will get an email back one week before the webinar with call-in instructions.
