Pursuing Asylum Defensively: Preparing for your Individual Hearing Part I
HIAS and Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) are partnering to offer a training for pro bono attorneys who are representing forcibly separated families seeking asylum in the United States. This training will focus on preparing for your client’s individual hearing, and will cover motion practice in immigration court, best practices for drafting briefs, affidavits, and other supporting documents, and country conditions research.
Part 2 of this training series, which will cover trial advocacy and preparing your client for the individual hearing, will be announced later this summer!
Registration is required to receive login information for the webinar. A recorded version of the training will be available on a later date.
