Refugee Law 102: Adjustments of Status for Refugees and other Forcibly Displaced Persons

United States

Event Description

Refugees, asylees, and other recipients of humanitarian relief may apply to become Lawful Permanent Residents (“LPRs”), or “green card holders” in the U.S. through a process called "adjustment of status." HIAS pro bono attorneys work with HIAS’ clients who are eligible and ready to become LPRs. Please join us for a legal webinar training to learn more about when and how individuals with humanitarian protections in the U.S. can apply to adjust status. We will also discuss opportunities to get involved in these types of cases. You must be registered to receive the webinar information. A recorded version of this training will be available on a later date. Many thanks to Loeb & Loeb LLP and Morgan Stanley for their generous sponsorship of this webinar. CLE credit may be available for live participants in certain jurisdictions.
