Event Description

HIAS is proud to cosponsor and promote this four-part series, created by our partners at  T’ruah, titled “Jewish Law and Ethics: a hackathon for the age of COVID-19.” The goal of these sessions is to apply Jewish wisdom, including halakhah (Jewish law), history, ethics, and lived experience, to ethical and human rights questions that have risen in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Part 2: Lock down vs. open up: How much must we give up to save lives? (Oct 13)
