Pursuing U-Visas for Victims of Crimes

United States

Please click here to register.

U-visas allow victims of certain crimes to remain in the United States legally, so long as they cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation and prosecution of the crime committed against them. After a certain number of years in U-visa status, the client may apply for adjustment of status, and later, U.S. citizenship.

HIAS is currently seeking pro bono attorneys who can assist with these applications. Sign up for our webinar training for attorneys who are interested in learning more. Registration is required.

A recorded version of this training will be available at a later date.
