Defending the Vulnerable
On Wednesday, February 15th at 6:30 PM, Council Member Dan Garodnick and Temple Emanu-El are hosting a post-election forum- Defending the Vulnerable: Call to Action on Immigration and the Refugee Crisis at Temple Emanu-El. This evening of conversation and activism will feature a panel with representatives from HIAS, Immigrant Justice Corps, Make the Road NY, and NY Immigration Coalition. We will learn about their roles in the recent actions against Trump’s policies, how they are organizing for the future, and how YOU can get involved and support their work.
